Our roundtable will cover issues in inpatient and outpatient obstetrics coding, presented by renowned coding expert, educator, and consultant Jana Mihaljevic.
Roundtable Chair Crystal Champaigne will serve as “gameshow host” for an exciting round of Coding Review — “Jeopardy”-style. We have answers covering a variety of coding topics — from 2018 Guidelines to POA Indicators — while attendees come up with questions for a chance to win great prizes!

Jana Mihaljevic is known in the industry as a subject matter expert in health information management with over 20+ years of healthcare experience in inpatient and outpatient coding, clinical documentation improvement, electronic health record process, financial reimbursement, coding compliance and coding/HIM education. She is a RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician), a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), a Clinical Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) and an AHIMA Approved ICD-10-CM/PCS Trainer.
She is residential faculty at Health Information Technology Associate Degree program at Phoenix College where she teaches full time multitude of classes including Inpatient and Outpatient Coding, Pathophysiology, and Health Information Organizational Resource Management.

Should you need to cancel your meeting registration, you may provide a substitute or cancel your registration. In any case, you must notify AzHIMA in writing by email as soon as possible. A 25% processing fee will be assessed on all cancellations received at least two weeks prior to the appropriate meeting date. After that date, the full registration fee will be forfeited. All refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt.

If you are paying by check, select “mail a check” under payment options. You will later see instructions to print the confirmation page and mail your payment to KnowledgeConnex. The mailing address will be on the invoice. Make your check payable to KnowledgeConnex and include the confirmation/order number with the check. Checks that do not reference the confirmation number will be returned to you and will not be applied to the registration.
